Alpine Air Adventures – Jeff Bullock is a first-rate ACMG mountaineering, climbing and skiing guide based in Canmore. Highly recommended.
Endless Adventure – Chris and Andrea offer excellent river kayaking and rafting ranging from an afternoon adventure on the Slocan River to a week’s training course in whitewater kayaking. Half an hour from Nelson. Frog Peak Cafe and Guesthouse is a great place to stay nearby.

Weather
We have mild, snowy winters when the temperature rarely goes below about minus 10 Celsius in the daytime and warm, sunny summers when the temperature can reach 30 degrees or more.
During the spring and autumn the weather is often sunny and warm temperatures can last until the end of October. We also have rainy days.
